Simi Nasa is a movie based on time honoured religious text of Gurung community. It prorays how Gurung conceptualize the death. How the Gurung connect with spiritual world performing various rituals in the physical world. For Gurung, death is not an end, but only a change of the world. Gurung believe that there is always connection beween living and dead. This movie depicts the beliefs and ideology of Gurung and their role to strengthen kinship bonds maintaining social unity.
